Hello world! Hello Chuck!

Today I finished this incredible book written by a genious as Chuck Palahniuk and I decided to celebrate starting this new adventure: becoming a blogger! Cool..

A few words about the first novel of the book, ‘Guts’, from the afterword by the author:

“…In all, 73 people have fainted while I’ve read ‘Guts’. [..] For a 9 page story, some nights it takes 30 minutes to read. In the first half, you’re pausing for so much laughter from your audience. In the second half, you’re pausing as your audience is revived. [..] But the first time I read ‘Guts’, nobody fainted. My goal was just to write some new form of horror story, something based on the ordinary world. Without supernatural monsters or magic. This would be a book you wouldn’t wanto to keep next to your bed. A book that would be a trapdoor down into some place dark. A place only you could go, alone, when you opened the cover. Because only books have that power..”

As said, I’m a newbie in this world, the bloggers world, so I hope to receive a lot of comments and suggestion.. both about blogs and the things I am going to write a bit about..

There will be photography and Aikido, 合気道, a Japanese martial art that I have been practicing for 10 years and it is the source and the reason why I started being interested in Japan first and next more and more in East Asia..
What else?

I will talk about books, about dreams, maybe about stories that I have written or stories that I will write.. and I will talk about East Asia, things I know, things I learnt, things I want to know..
