Chinese medicine

31 01 2008

Yunnan Baiyao, 云南白药Monday, for the first time in about 2 months I was able to practice again suwariwaza Aikido techniques!! Since my last seminar in Vienna, with Endo sensei, in December 2007, I have suffered a quite annoying pain in the right knee. It did not disappeared even with the end of the year holidays break and I was getting a bit worried. Together with that, as reminder of the last year Aikido tour-de-force, I have pain in my right elbow and in the lower back.. 😦  I am a wreck!!

But I got a few medicines from my beautiful girlfriend, Han Xu (better, from Han Xu’s mother!!). Chinese medicine:

  • Yunnan Baiyao, 云南白药, a medicine almost miracolous for Chinese people
  • 正红花油, Zhen gong hua you, also called 红花油, Hong hua you
  • 扶他林, fu ta lin (votalin – diclofenic diethylamine emulgel)

Fu ta lin, 扶他林Zhen gong hua you, 红花油

Sometimes oriental medicine might be a bit less straightforward though.. both on causes and cures! 😀
