Toasty Hangzhou

temperature in Hangzhou

Warmest day for 2011 for me, warmest day for practicing 4 hours of Aikido in Hangzhou!!

Sunday 05/08 we started our session at 1pm and we practiced until 5pm: a 4 hours session where I put a little bit of everything, from jo, to bokken to Aikido without weapons.

I’ll write later about the technical part of this session.

Hangzhou is famous for the hot hot weather during summer time: this was actually a bit scary for one like me that in 15 years in Norway lost completely the resistance to (real) summer weather.

Man! 4 hours of continuous parctice at 35 degrees is crazy! You are in very good shape! 😉

Wish I could have been there, if I would be able to survive your session that is 😉
