The best way of eating it is making a sort of volcano shaped mountain in the middle of the dish, and put on the top a big piece of butter, have a lot of cinnamon and sugar sprinkled around it, let the butter melt and when it flows down, lava like, along the rice mountain…
..enjoy big spoons of it!!!!
Had a lot of it: for the home Christmas version, it comes with 1 almond inside, all white and hidden and all the rice porridge is served to the different people of the family. The one that finds the almond wins a price, usually a pig shape marzipan sweet!! The clever ones manage to keep the almond in the mouth until when everybody has almost finished, so there is the thrill and the mystery for the price..
