My Stories

My Stories“.. and what is that supposed to mean?

I have been writing some stories through the years, most in Italian, some in English.. or English-written-by-Italian, it means bad English! And I think I will share some of them..

A story is a text describing a sequence of event , and my stories are not much more than that.. as I learned from one of my favorite author.. they are not necessary good.. no, they are not good, nothing at the level of my favorite authors like Haruki Murakami, Chuck Palahniuk, Stephen King, Jeffrey Deaver.. or several others.. nothing at the same level of any writer, I should say!!

roadBut if you ended up for some reasons to this page in this blog, why not take a step further, like driving an unknown road during the night, you may have some surprises.. Pleasant or not it’s up to you.. and the story! 😉

No fixed deadlines for these uploads, but I’ll combine them with the posts, ie. with pictures, either mine or from Flickr contacts.. 🙂

Hello Andrea.

Just back from 2 good seminars in Sweden. First in Lillsved with Jan and Jorma, and then in Iyasaka Aikido club with Igarashi sensei.

Still waiting for your visit in Hamar.

Welcome.

One afternoon, I was in the backyard hanging the laundry when an old, tired-looking dog wandered into the yard. I could tell from his collar and well-fed belly that he had a home. But when I walked into the house, he followed me, sauntered down the hall and fell asleep in a corner. An hour later, he went to the door, and I let him out. The next day he was back. He resumed his position in the hallway and slept for an hour.
This continued for several weeks. Curious, I pinned a note to his collar: “Every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap. ”
The next day he arrived with a different note pinned to his collar: “He lives in a home with ten children – he’s trying to catch up on his sleep.”

I cried from laughter
